e-cell is a wearable (portable) musculoskeletal and joint pain management medical device* intended for external use as a means of increasing natural healing processes in cases of acute (recent) and chronic (long term) musculoskeletal disorders. e-cell technology integrates the three FDA (U.S. Food and Drug Administration) approved waveforms into a treatment sequence that complements the body's own process of tissue regeneration within bone, tendon, ligament and cartilage.

Pain and disuse following injury decreases the electrical currents normally produced in the body's tissue to drive the healing process, e-cell simply 'mimics' these stimulation signals, and in doing so increases the natural healing process. What makes e-cell so unique is that these sequences have been embedded into an expert delivery system, controlled by sophisticated Therapy Smart Card technology. Each Therapy Smart Card carries an electronic 'prescription' capable of delivering an entire pre-determined therapeutic program.

Therapy Smart Cards are inserted into the e-cell in a similar manner as a sim card is inserted into a mobile phone. Each Therapy Smart Card carries a prescription program designed according to specific pathology, tissue type and stage of healing.

Simply switch e-cell on by pressing the on button for two seconds. Place e-cell over the area to be treated and secure with the Velcro strap. e-cell will then deliver a thirty minute treatment and at its conclusion will emit an audible warning prior to automatically shutting down.

I thoroughly enjoy using the e-cell and have had great benefit from it.

I suffered an ACL rupture with a meniscus and cartilage tear in 2007 and found it hard to come back to a healthy fighting fitness for my sport Taekwondo. No matter how hard I worked to get my knee normal again, it just seemed to lag behind in rehabilitation.

Four months ago I began to suffer from tendonitis of the elbow. This injury became worse and worse to the extent that I was forced to stop competing in the sport I love, tennis.
